LP, M/Print
Light hairlines each side but nothing deep or nasty, plays great. Has lost it’s "gloss" but still plays with great audio. Clean labels are free from rips and writing.
This is the “other” E-E-Saw record by ABC, a pre-released and mislabeled version of Jacob Miller’s “Tenement Yard” – LP; the label was intented for the E-E-Saw 7” “Tired fe lick / Collie weed Dub”. As you might see there are some two songs that don’t appear on the later released LP (German pressing by Island Records): Song A1 (which was added to the A-side) and song B3 (which replaced “All night til daylight”). Seems to be a quite rare record with that label. Please see submission notes of Jacob Miller “Tenement Yard”, German press by Island, #201 087-320.
The only information about that record I got comes from
http://www.reggae-wise.eu/Jacob%20Miller.htm
ABC Productions (not listed at Discogs yet)was the production company of the Lewis Brothers (Inner Circle / Fatman Riddim Section)[Informations from http://www.roots-archives.com/rotm/in_a_tenement_yard ].
I never found the record listed in any catalogue like roots-archives, ebay offer or website. The “famous” E-E-SAW record (the mislabeled Jacob Miller / King Tubby’s Dub Album) is listed on roots-archives as a vinyl record and CD, see above link.
Any more informations are welcome. Thanks.
Found my copy in Canada per chance.
